After breakfast, leave Tangier and begin traveling south along Morocco's Atlantic side.

Stop in Asilah, a smaller coastal town known for its relaxed atmosphere, traditional medina and position beside the Atlantic Ocean.

Take time to walk through the old town before continuing inland.

The journey then turns away from the coast as you travel toward Meknes.

The changing route makes this one of the most varied travel days of the itinerary, moving from northern coastal Morocco toward one of the country's historic imperial cities.

Arrive in Meknes later in the day and settle into your accommodation.

Leave Fes and continue according to your onward travel plans.

The route can take you toward Marrakech before continuing to Casablanca, or your final transfer can be adapted if you prefer to extend your stay in Morocco.
