Tour Overview

Your Morocco journey

Discover Morocco at a slower pace on this private 5-day Marrakech to Fes desert tour.

The journey begins in Marrakech and crosses the High Atlas Mountains toward Ait Ben Haddou, Ouarzazate and the Dades Valley. The first part of the tour combines mountain scenery, traditional villages and the wide landscapes of southern Morocco.

After visiting Todra Gorges, continue toward Merzouga and the Erg Chebbi dunes. Unlike the shorter Marrakech to Fes desert tours, this five-day itinerary gives you more time around Merzouga instead of passing quickly through the Sahara.

Spend a full day discovering the desert area, visit Khamlia and enjoy time around the dunes before taking a camel ride into the Sahara. Watch the sunset and spend the night at a desert camp under the open sky.

The journey then continues north through the Ziz Valley toward Midelt, where you spend another night before crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains on the final day.

This 5-day desert tour from Marrakech to Fes is designed for travelers who prefer a more relaxed route, more time in the Sahara and shorter travel stages before reaching Fes.
