Leave Agadir and travel toward Taznakht before reaching Ait Ben Haddou. Explore the fortified village and continue through southern Morocco toward the Dades Valley, where you spend the first night.
The second day takes you through the Valley of Roses and toward Todra Gorges. Walk between the high canyon walls before continuing through Erfoud toward Merzouga and the Sahara.
Merzouga sits beside the dunes of Erg Chebbi and provides a completely different landscape from the valleys and mountain roads experienced earlier in the journey.
On day three, spend more time discovering the Merzouga area before continuing through Khamlia and Rissani. The route then crosses the Draa Valley toward Ouarzazate for the final overnight stay.
The last day takes you from Ouarzazate across the High Atlas Mountains before arriving in Marrakech.
